TOUR schedule
Rising fuel prices are significantly impacting the way we
do business!
Rather than raise tour prices or add a "fuel
surcharge", we have established a tour minimum of six
(6) vehicles per tour.
We rely on your continued support to make these
tours possible.
|
We can also arrange
custom tours for your group of six (or more) vehicles. Please
contact us for information and pricing. |

Commerce from Cerro
Gordo's mines caused Los Angeles to begin to bloom in the
1870's. Explore southern Owens Valley near Lone Pine and
WWII relocation camp at Manzanar. Learn about the close,
though sometimes strained relationship between the Owens
Valley and Los Angeles that began with silver and lead.
We'll challenge our vehicles to a steep climb on the Swansea
Grade along the route of an old salt tram to the ghost
mining city of Cerro Gordo. Lots of scenic history and
geology. Moderate 4-wheeling. Tour meets near Mojave (or in
Lone Pine) and ends in Lone Pine. |
